Grace grew up living with recovering drug addicts, prostitutes, and alcoholic’s. When Grace was seven years old her grandparents gave her family a gift, a visit to Walt Disney World in Florida. It was then that her parents made the decision they wanted to immigrate to the U.S.A.
The family sold their house, gave over their church, put all their possessions in containers (not to see again for another six months) and obtained visas. After almost five years of work in December 2003, visa’s in hand the Hatton family arrived in Orlando. In 2014 the family gained dual citizenship.
Grace had been writing stories since she was a little girl but on New Years Eve 2003 at the age of twelve she began her first full length novel.
